Ebru

Paul my lecturer has given me food for thought, I'm slowly exploring the manipulation of images to create dark and different moods. Now, in Photoshop, this is never that hard, just sometimes time consuming if you have to trace around the side of a spiky building. But it can be done, and usually the results look good. I literally knocked up a quick one in under 5 minutes, just to give a sense of what I'm trying to get at here.

I'm calling this next image 'A nanosecond after the nuclear bomb'
It would be the last thing your eyes would ever see
It would be literally split seconds before you would be vaporised and burnt alive
It's the kind of image we will never get to see first hand

Hopefully you can see where I'm coming from

Deviantart

Here's a link to my deviantart account, I update it occasionally, and it's usually full of work from my art foundation course, but it has got some photography of mine on it also. Either way it's worth a look if you want to see any more of my work. And of course, a couple of the pieces I'll feature on this blog too because I am proud of them

Deviantart Link

For my regularly updated online portfolio of work, follow this link to my Deviantart.com account.

You will find a collection of various works in various media’s, just a simple collection over time of some work I am proud of and would like to share with an online community. I have been pleasantly surprised with the feedback I have received and it has only encouraged me to keep adding more work to the site.

For those of you who don’t know about deviantart, it is a great website which allows users to register a name and upload their work, for it to be shared with the whole world. You can go to the effort of subscribing for a fee, but right now I feel that I personally don’t need to, I’m managing just fine as it is.
